Sourcing & Buying Trips

Sourcing Indonesia assists you, the buyer, through every step of the purchasing process. We assist with all of your personal sourcing, quality control, and shipping needs. We arrange hotel pickups, scheduled sourcing activities, local knowledge and advice, as well as, organization of cargo services, and customs clearance at destination when required.

Our sourcing programs are based on full day trips (6-8 hours), are completely FREE OF CHARGE, and also include lunch at one of the different highly rated and reputable restaurants in Bali.

Upon ordering and purchasing your items, Sourcing Indonesia monitors all scheduling, production progress, quality control, and collection of goods for packaging and shipment. Sourcing Indonesia and your account manager assigned to your order maintains the highest level of quality control throughout the entire production process and continually communicates with regular updates and scheduling details. We assure you of the lowest rates found in Indonesia and give you the peace of mind that everything will be taken care of safely after you leave.

You are escorted each day by your designated Sourcing Indonesia Account Manager who will serve as your guide, maintain item lists, cash reports and invoices, as well as, create a digital picture catalogue of all your items. Your personal digital catalogue list is updated each day along with all purchase orders and is ready to review at anytime in either hard copy, or through our secure website following login.

Office Facilities and Business Center

Our office center and all its facilities are available to our buyers during their time in Bali. Facilities include private offices, International telephone and fax services, and high speed broadband Internet access. During your stay you have full access to Sourcing Indonesia’s transportation.

Pre-Trip Arrival

In order to best serve you while in Bali, various information that we are able to obtain prior to your arrival will greatly assist us in preparing all services you require. Please send us, as best you can, a list of items you are interested in sourcing, the dates in which you will be in Bali, specific requirements needed during your visit, and any other pertinent information you feel useful.

Cargo Services and Shipping

Sourcing Indonesia can organize all shipping and cargo packing for all orders. All ‘sea’ cargo shipments are calculated by either container size or per cubic meter, and charged in US dollars. If you wish to organize your own shipping, Sourcing Indonesia can liase and organize everything needed with any company you chose / have an existing relationship with, etc.

Payment and Fees

Sourcing Indonesia’s charges 15% on the total from your invoices, which account for all Sourcing Indonesia services. There are no hidden charges or additional costs for any services mentioned. We pride ourselves on making sure our buyers have all details of all costs involved from start to finish and do our best to assist in each aspect of our buyer’s purchasing process and budget planning.
Our minimum total order requirement is $4000 USD. For orders under $4000 we charge a service fee of $150 USD.

Additional Charges

If you do not confirm an order while you are in Bali, we will charge $50 USD per day for each sourcing and buying trip, including driver, Sales Coordinator, digital image offering, etc. One day’s hours consist of 9am-5.00pm. For each additional hour required a charge of $10 USD will apply. Daily trip charges are credited back to you based on confirmed orders of $4,000 USD or more.
Some countries require a Goods and Services Tax (GST) on specific imported products. Our shipping agent will have more details for you on these charges for your specific order. Insurance is payable on ordered items calculated by a percentage of your invoice total.

Additional Information

Sourcing Indonesia can also organize accommodation, meetings with individual artisans, drivers and transportation services, and any other personal services and recreational activities during your visit (sightseeing tours, golf trips, scuba diving trips, fishing, etc).
